  This is not a new Canis Dirus album. Dormant was a project of Todd's prior to the formation of Canis Dirus. Now 14 years later the only full length album from Dormant is getting the reissue treatment from the incomparable Old Mill Productions label!
  
  Over the span of the 6 tracks on this tape you really get a sense of just how much Agalloch's Pale Folklore album had an influence on Todd's writing in those days. The album also features guest appearances by Andy Curtis-Brignell from Caina (vocals / lyrics on Black Ashes) and Tanner Anderson from Obsequiae (hammered dulcimer on the title track).
